Historic Election of 1860 Political Badges Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas

We are pleased to bring to market a pair of historic campaign badges from the 1860 Presidential Campaign.  Rarely have even one of these items are found and brought to auction, but we have both Abraham Lincoln and his opponent Stephen A. Douglas.  These were the front runners of the 1860 election and remembered for the Lincoln/Douglas debates.  The badges are ambrotypes with a paper backing containing information for each candidate.

It is unheard of for both badges to be offered at auction, and we consider ourselves privileged to sell these fantastic historic items.
